Flu shots can now be taken at Sanford hospitals

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- As summer comes to an end, flu season is right around the corner.

That’s why Sanford Health has started administering flu shots at all 200 of its clinics throughout the upper midwest.

Sanford Health Official Andrea Folkinghorn says that getting the shot can save you from serious illness.

Folkinghorn says signing up for a shot is simple.

While Sanford began administering shots on September 1st, it’s recommended to get the shot towards the end of the month to ensure the strongest protection during the peak of flu season.
