ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Free Fall Residential Cleanup is underway at the Brown County Landfill.

Mike Scott, Landfill Manager, said he has already noticed an uptick in traffic since the event started last Friday.

Visitors to the landfill will be treated to a display of Gilligan’s Island, complete with a boat labeled the S.S. Minnow.

Scott said people need to make sure their loads are secure before heading out to the landfill.

The numbers are already solid for the fall clean up. Scott said the free spring residential cleanup was the largest the landfill has ever had.

The landfill will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 6.
