Hub City Radio caught up with Amy Lucas and Vern Preszler of the Disabled American Vets, who told us about the new fountain memorial.

Preszler said they’d love to see Veterans of all kinds take in the dedication that showcases a partnership with the City.

Fountains and Memorials like these serve as a great reminder of the sacrifices made according to Preszler

Lucas said the plaque and Donor information is already in place, and suggests people bring a chair for the program.

The dedication will take place at 1pm Saturday the 2nd of May, just west of the Senior Center at Anderson Park off 6th avenue.
