FREEMAN, S.D.(WNAX)- The Freeman Public School Board is conducting a survey that may help determine the future of the district.
Superintendent Jake Tietje says the board formed a task force to look at their options.
Tietje says the survey is on their website and deals with consolidation and a possible sports cooperative.
Tietje says they would like to pick up the process next month.
The board has had some talks with the Marion school district and is currently in a football cooperative with Canistota.
