ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Today marks the first day in a new promotion by the Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. The event is called FUN Book Friday.

Casey Weismantel, Executive Director of the CVB, explained the promotion.

The book includes discounts for rides, ice cream, the Dacotah Prairie Museum and Aberdeen Community Theatre. Individuals just need to watch for where the books will be handed out each Friday.

There is no cost involved. Books will be handed out starting at 6:30 this evening at the Capitol Theatre, although Weismantel said most weeks the event will start at 2 in the afternoon.
