ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen City Council approved a mask resolution Monday evening in a 5-4 vote.

Aberdeen City Manager Joe Gaa said the resolution was one of the toughest recommendations he’s ever made.

He said rising COVID numbers and a stressed health care system played a big role in the resolution.

Gaa said there is a big difference between a resolution and an ordinance.

He said the resolution really boils down to a pair of sentences.
