SOUTH DAKOTA(WNAX)- Gas prices are again starting to climb and we may see more price hikes in the near future.

Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota says there is lots of pressure on crude oil prices.

Steward says we are getting close to the busy travel season.

Steward says average prices have risen in the past few weeks.

Last June, the national average price for a gallon of gas hit five dollars.
