ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- District 1 State Senator Michael Rohl appeard on the Evening Report on KSDN Friday to talk about his candidacy.
Thursday night the Brown County GOP hosted their Lincoln Day Dinner, Senator Rohl talked about what the atmosphere was like.
We talked about some of the issues that took place during this year legislative session. One of the bills he sponsored was a bill allowing those ages 18-20 to sell alcohol in a bar or restaurant.
Rohl talked about the marijuana bill that was vetoed by Governor Noem.
Rohl talked about the Convention of States Resolution. Rohl on the Committee level voted to allow the resolution to be debated on the Senate floor.
The resolution was defeated on the committee level, however was smoked out to the SD Senate floor. Senator Rohl at that time voted against putting it up to debate. Rohl explains why.
We next discussed what will be Senator Rohl’s agenda if he is re-elected.

Finally, we talked about the upcoming impeachment trial of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. On Tuesday the SD Senate will convene. Rohl talks about what will be discussed.
