WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- Immaculate Conception Catholic Private School has a new Principal in the 2022-23 school year, introducing Becca Briggs.
KXLG News reached out to Briggs to get some more background.
Becca has attended Dakota Wesleyan and achieved her Master’s degree and Northern University for an education degree. KXLG News asked Briggs what her attraction was to leave the public school system and take on a principal role at a private school.
When the position became available, Becca said, “I just let God really decide where my path was.”
Even though they sound separate, I.C. School has a great partnership with the Watertown School District.
KXLG News asked Briggs what plans she potentially has for the future of I.C. School.
She is in the office full time now and says anyone interested in learning more or introducing themselves to stop by. Within the next couple of weeks, Becca will also visit each mass service to introduce herself and talk about the school.
