Get to know U.S. House candidate Sheryl Johnson

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Earlier this year, Sioux Falls native and Democrat Sheryl Johnson announced her candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing South Dakota.  On Sunday, she made a stop in Aberdeen as part of the Blue Jeans BBQ hosted by Brown County Democrats.

As part of her platform is the issue of reproductive rights.  Johnson talks about the issue should be settled between the doctor and the patient.

Another issue Johnson wants to address in Congress is public schools.

Johnson comments on the Presidential ticket that will appear to have Vice President Kamala Harris as the candidate of choice for President.

Johnson also hearing issues from citizens about cost of goods increasing the last four years.

Johnson was asked how to attack the near $35 trillion deficit facing the country today.

Johnson is the first Democrat to make the November ballot for the U.S. House seat since 2018.
