GETTYSBURG, S.D. (Press Release) – A Gettysburg man has been identified as the driver of an RV that was struck by a tornado on Sunday evening near Miller.

According to obituary information from a funeral home, Paul Dean Nelson, 73, of Gettysburg was killed when the RV he was driving was struck by a tornado north of Miller.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Grace Bible Church in Gettysburg.
