PIERRE, S.D. (KWAT) – The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department is holding two public meetings regarding the recent discovery of zebra mussels in Lake Sharpe.
The meetings are Wednesday at the Arrowwood Resort in Oacoma and Thursday at the Pierre Ramkota.
Both meetings will be from 7-9 p.m.
These meetings will provide residents with information on reducing the risk of spreading aquatic invasive species like zebra mussels and examples of how others have mitigated impacts of mussels on water infrastructure.
