- Down south in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles girls soccer squad got their first goals of the season & in turn, their first win. A clean sheet for Ciara Frank and Aberdeen Central, as they defeated Sioux Falls Jefferson 3-0. In the games’ 10th minute, Madyson Gillen would find the back of the rope on a free kick and Deshani Peters would add another goal in the 22nd minute; she was assisted on the play by Kailyn Poppen and Kirra Stillman. In the second half, just for a little insurance, Peters would net her second goal of the day, she was assisted by Abby Witte. Ciara Frank made four saves in goal & the Golden Eagles out shot Jefferson, 24-10. With the win, Aberdeen Central evens their record at 1-1.
