PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- Will we see more evidence of potential fraud in state government???
The South Dakota Department of Investigation is working on a potential fraud case involving an employee in the state Revenue Department…the third one this year.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says chances are good there will be more charges.
The Legislature’s Government Oversight and Audit Committee meets later this week, but doesn’t plan to examine the fraud cases until next month.
Committee member Linda Duba of Sioux Falls already has a list of questions on the subject.
The Oversight and Audit Committee has set aside two days to review the fraud cases.
Duba doesn’t think that will be enough time.
