WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem made an appearance at the “America First Policy Institute” in Washington D.C.

In her speech, she took on China and the Chinese communist party by talking about what she had done in the state.

Noem says states have to take the lead since the federal government is not.

Noem says China has a long term goal.

Noem was also in Washington for the National Governors Association meeting.
