Governor Noem address different issues ahead of Tuesday’s Primary

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Governor Kristi Noem ahead of Tuesday’s Primary addressed a number of different topics.

Noem talked about the recovery efforts happening along I-29 from the North Dakota border all the way down through the state.  The state is still determining how costly the storm was.

Noem discussed the impact the state of emergency she declared has had in the region.

Governor Noem talked about the issue of gas prices and the closure of Keystone XL.  She was surprised that President Biden did it in his first day in office.

Noem next addressed the issue of doing a better job of securing schools going forward following the deadly shooting that took place at Uvalde, Texas.

Noem talked about what state government has done dealing with mental health.

Later this month, the U.S. Supreme Court should rule on the Dobbs case which could overturn Roe v Wade.  If that occurs, Governor Noem plans on calling a special legislative session.  She explains what the session would be about.

Noem talks about what it means to be a republican in today’s South Dakota.

Governor Noem was in Aberdeen Thursday for the Boys State Governor’s Banquet.  Noem talks about the advice she was going to give to the students.
