PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is critical of news coverage of the impacts of the shutdown of the Keystone XL pipeline.
During her weekly news conference, she pointed to a story that ran in the “Washington Examiner”.
Noem says the story was about local residents and businesses impacted by the shutdown.
Noem says she expects the news media to treat these issues fairly.
After the news conference, a story pointed out that Cox bought the hotel in Midland without being aware that the pipeline would be built in that area.
