PIERRE, S.D.(KBHB) – South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and Department of Public Safety Secretary Craig Price talked briefly today about the current situation with Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.
Articles of impeachment against the Attorney General were filed yesterday and sent to a House committee for further consideration.
Governor Noem has asked for Ravnsborg’s resignation, and discussed her decision today…

Still, Price says having been in the law enforcement field for over20 years, he says maintaining public trust is critical…
Governor Noem says they plan to release more information regarding the case.
Ravnsborg is facing three misdemeanors in relation to the death of Joe Boever this past September in which the Attorney General struck and killed him with his car near Highmore.
A spokesman for the Attorney General continues to imply that Ravnsborg has no intention to resign and looks forward to his day in court.
