MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- Governor Noem made a stop in Mitchell on Wednesday to sign House Bill 1090, which she calls an ag preservation bill.

She stressed the importance of the ag industry to South Dakota.

South Dakota Farm Bureau President Scott VanderWal of Volga says agriculture has been under attack.

The event was held at C & B Operations.  District 20 Senator Josh Klumb of Mitchell was a primary sponsor of House Bill 1090.
