PIERRE, S.D.(Press Release)- Today, Governor Kristi Noem signed Senate Bill 46, which protects fairness in women’s sports.

In the press conference that follows Governor Noem wanted to thank the legislators for bringing it to her desk.

Governor Noem has transgender friends and she was asked how to explain the bill to them.

This is the first bill that Governor Noem has signed in the 2022 legislative session.
