WATERTOWN, S.D.(AlphaMedia)–Another school year is winding down to a close in South Dakota.
It’s the second one in a row that’s been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Kristi Noem says there’s no question, that academics have suffered as a result.
The governor says it’s not all bad news though, and now the state will be looking at ways of closing the gap on learning that’s been lost.
The governor’s comments came during a Monday visit to Lake Area Technical College in Watertown.
