PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- As controversy swirls around country singer Jason Aldean’s song “Try that in a Small Town”, Governor Kristi Noem says she’s got the singer’s back.
Noem added that she wants Aldean to come play anywhere at any time in South Dakota, including the Governor Mansion’s front lawn.
Governor Kristi Noem is not a fan of how the media is portraying Jason Aldean’s song “Try that in a Small Town”.
Noem shared her thoughts in a video posted on Twitter.
The song received backlash for its lyrics and the location used for a backdrop in his music video.
