RAPID CITY, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, Governor Rhoden announced that he will seek re-election for a full four-year term as South Dakota’s Governor.
Governor Rhoden praised his choice for Lt. Governor Tony Venhuizen.
Rhoden talked about his mission once he became Governor back in February.
Rhoden told the public that his main focus will continue to Governor of the State of South Dakota.

Governor Rhoden is the fourth Republican candidate to declare for Governor in 2026. He joins Congressman Dusty Johnson, Speaker of the House Jon Hansen, and Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden.
