PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The Governors Council of Economic Advisors held their quarterly meeting this week and heard a briefing on the states finances and talked about future projections.
Board member, David Chicoine, says finding enough workers continues to be a major issue.
Chicoine, former President of South Dakota State University, says the state should still see solid growth.
Chicoine says the state will continue to see impacts of hundreds of millions of federal dollars for a while.
The board was told that sales tax collections in April of this year were up almost twenty five percent over the same month last year.
