Get your children’s eyes checked and have a good time doing it Saturday in Groton. The Rib Fest features a Ribs competition and while they are being smoked there are plenty of fun events for the Kids, Suzie Easthouse stopped by the studios to help spread the word.

Jellyball is like paint ball without the paint and don’t forget about the most important part of the event and the reason for it.

Old eyeglasses can be donated and recycled there as well. Along with all the fun events, they’ve added something new.

The Ribs will be ready for eating as Karaoke gets underway to cap off the event.
