PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – South Dakota’s State Treasurer, Josh Haeder, will have the chance to promote an important campaign talking point with his appointment as chair to a Committee with the National Association of State Treasurers. The Huron native will serve as Chair of the Financial Education and Empowerment Committee.

Haeder says enhanced financial literacy is important given how easy it is to get into high-interest debt at an early age.

Haeder will also serve as a member of National Association of Treasurer’s Committee of Program and Learning in 2020 and is serving on the College Savings Plan Network Board for the NAST.
