DELL RAPIDS, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – Another event down for Aberdeen Roncalli & another Cavalier is up at the top of the leaderboard.

As a team, Aberdeen Roncalli finished in third place out of 17 qualifying teams & Harper Schnabel would medal for the event, finishing three strokes ahead of Elk Point-Jefferson’s Ben Akin. Schnabel was dialed in all afternoon long; he fired an even par on the front nine & then on the back, he was aces. Schnabel picked up four birdies on hole 10 and then three straight on holes 14-16.

Aberdeen Roncalli also had a pair of golfers in the top 20; Finn Anderson shot a (+7, 78) good for a ninth place tie & then Lucas Daggett shot an (+8, 79) and he tied for 19^th place.

The Cavs return to the links on Tuesday at Olive Grove golf course in Groton.
