Harvest better than expected in South Dakota

KIMBALL, S.D.(WNAX)- Despite a drought stressed summer, some surprising harvest results are rolling into area elevators.

Todd Yeaton at Gavillon in Kimball says yields are better than expected so far.

Yeaton says soybeans are also doing better than earlier estimates.

Yeaton says they expect to see more loads over the next month or so.

Yeaton says train car and shuttle availability has been good and they don’t expect any issues shipping grain out.
