HAYTI, S.D. (KELOLAND) — A 60-year-old Hayti man is dead after a farm accident nearly a week ago.

The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office says a 911 call came in last Tuesday afternoon.

The caller reported that a man in an alfalfa field was run over by a tractor.

He was taken to a Watertown Hospital where he later died.
