YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Even as the coronavirus pandemic continues, health care providers are worried about the start of the flu season.

Yankton Doctor Mike Pietila says the flu is different than the coronavirus.

Pietila says it will be critical that more people get flu shots this year.

Pietila says he is concerned about health care workers dealing with the flu along with the coronavirus.

The CDC is recommending people start getting flu shots no earlier than next month.
