DAY COUNTY, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Portions of Day County are under Flood Warning following another night of heavy rainfall in the county.
Day County Law Enforcement reported on their Facebook page:
“130th street (Roslyn/Pierpont Road) and 422nd Avenue at 7:30AM. Water over the road.
There is a Black Jeep just East of this location that went into the ditch due to water over the roadway. Everyone is safe and accounted for.”
According to the National Weather Service Office in Aberdeen these rainfall figures were reported in:
7 miles SW of Roslyn(4.7 inches)
3 miles NW of Amherst(2.45 inches)
6 miles SE of Pierpont(3.6 inches)
