Heavy rains fell in portions of northeast South Dakota Wednesday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)-  Heavy rains fell Wednesday morning in parts of the northeastern South Dakota.

.57″ fell at the Aberdeen Regional Airport this morning.

5: of rain fell in Milbank.  The NWS was informed of a  report of standing water in farm fields around Milbank & Twins Brook.

Over 4″ fell five miles south of Webster in Day County.

6.3″ fell five miles south of Garden City in Codington County.

3″ fell 4 miles north of Conde in Spink County.

4″ fell in Ortley in Roberts County.

4.5″ fell in Waubay in Day County.

4.5″ fell in Bristol in Day County.

Flood warning in effect for most of these regions now until 10:30am Thursday.
