ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Signup for Holiday Assistance is currently underway at the Aberdeen Salvation Army.

Signup will run through next week. Kathy Zerr, Case Worker at Salvation Army, provides the details.

Major Mary Hunt said she has noticed an increase in need this year.

Hunt said that there are several options for people to help out.

Zerr said that individuals or businesses do not necessarily need a tree to participate in the angel tree program.

The Salvation Army also provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Hunt said that this year’s Thanksgiving meal will look a bit different because of the pandemic.
