ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) –Presentation College is pleased to announce the new Wein Gallery exhibit by Aberdeen artist, Molly Hornaman. The show, entitled “Color Me Happy” is full of vibrant paintings of a variety of animals.
Molly is known for her ‘Pico’ paintings, which started as a result of a friend’s Chihuahua who passed away. Her purpose in making art is to make people feel joy when grieving the loss of a dear pet. Painting not only allows Molly to help others, but it is a therapy for her. Nothing makes Molly happier than to see the joy in people when they fall in love with art.
Molly is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Prairie Heights Health Care, in Aberdeen. She brings her dog Brinkley to visit the residents at work on weekends to bring them joy.
Molly’s Community Reception is Tuesday, July 9 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
