YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Hospitals are starting to see an increase in Covid-19 related admissions.
Doug Ekeren, President of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, and Avera Queen of Peace in Mitchell, says they are starting to see those numbers pick up.
Ekeren says vaccinations can help keep those hospital numbers under control.
Ekeren says people getting vaccinated helps them keep health care services available for other needs.
The City of Aberdeen currently has 1 that’s hospitalized with COVID-19 at Avera’s ICU.
