YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Forecasts continue to indicate hot and dry conditions to continue over much of the Missouri River Basin.
Doug Kluck, Climate Services Director for the Central Region of the National Weather Service, says the outlook for the next month shows the heat.
Kluck, who took part in the monthly Missouri River Basin update for the Corps of Engineers, says not much rain is expected over the next month.
Kluck says the three month outlooks don’t change much.
The Corps is predicting much below normal runoff into the river system through the end of the year.
