SALEM, S.D.(WNAX)- There were disagreements along the way, but South Dakota legislators came up with some solid solutions.

House Majority Leader Kent Peterson of Salem says while there were some differences of opinion among republicans, they were able to find consensus at the end.

Peterson says there were some big issues in front of them.

Peterson says they were able to use one time money to make several generational investments.

Peterson is term limited and has said he will step away from public service for a while.
