PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators are taking a four day weekend and will pick up the session again on Tuesday.

House Majority Leader Will Mortenson of Pierre says it was a notable week.

Mortenson says sales taxes continue to grow.

Mortenson says they went above and beyond the revenues the Governor set in her budget.

Those projections will be used to set the budget which will emerge in the final days of the session early next month.
