SALEM, S.D. (WNAX) – Committee assignments for the 2021 South Dakota legislative session have been made.

Representative Kent Peterson of Salem will be House Majority Leader in the next session. He will also be Chairman of the State Affairs Committee.

Peterson says many issues carry over from year to year.

The session starts on Jan. 12.
