SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – House Speaker Steve Haugaard of Sioux Falls is struggling back from a bout with COVID-19.

He said it has been a difficult time.

He said that his fever spiked up to 105. He had to go the emergency room a couple of times.

Haugaard says COVID-19 is nothing to mess with.
