How Aberdeen is cleaning up during the winter storm

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Aberdeen this week is dealing with weather.  The city has been under a Winter Storm Warning since Monday night scheduling to end Thursday morning.

City Manager Joe Gaa talks about how the city has handled the situation so far.

Freezing drizzle starting falling Monday afternoon.  Gaa explains that early Tuesday morning, they started salting the emergency snow route prior to snow arriving on Tuesday.

Snow began to arrive Tuesday morning.  Gaa talks about the plans for Wednesday morning.

Weather should be starting to clear out by late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.  Gaa talks about what’s normally the plan the city applies however may adjust depending on what the weather done.

Gaa reminds us the law in place regarding residential & commercial cleanup following a snowstorm.

The city of Aberdeen is projected to see 5-12 inches by the end of warning.
