ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Friday’s edition of “The Sports Hub” on Fox Sports Aberdeen (1420AM) David Tukesbrey visited with First Team All-ESD Conference & All-State guard, Spencer Barr. Barr was also nominated for South Dakota’s ‘Mr. Basketball’ award.
During his senior campaign, he averaged 18.4 points per game en route to a banner season as a Golden Eagle.
Now that he’s graduated from CHS and with the University of Jamestown in his sights, he reflects on his time at Aberdeen Central High School.

Audio PlayerWhile Barr was already having a fantastic senior year, on January 24th, 2023, he erupted for a career high 51 points in a double OT victory against Pierre. It was a game where Barr scored at all three levels, including seven threes and helped his squad to a big upset victory over the (then) fourth ranked team in Class AA.
