ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The inaugural Hub City Hoedown skateboard event is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 at the skateboard park located at Melgaard Park.

Nick Ailts, YAPA Supervisor and event coordinator, talked about the Hoedown.

There will be six different categories to compete in. Ailts said some are objective while others are subjective.

Cost is $10 and includes a Hoedown t-shirt. Individuals can preregister at the YAPAtorium or simply show up at 10:30 a.m. the day of the event.

Ailts said that traffic at the skateboard park has increased this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.
