PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The Hughes County Commission is considering moving forward with a three-percent increase in wages for county employees. County Finance Officer Thomas Oliva wanted clarification from the Commission about whether or not the governing board would move a pay raise forward.
Commissioner Connie Hohn says a three-percent pay adjustment would work for most county employees.
Formal approval of the cost of living increases for county employees will come with the first meeting of 2025.
