ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Area Humane Society had another strong month in May and is gearing up for the summer.

Elaine Schaible, Humane Society manager, said adoptions continue on the upswing and fundraising plans are in progress.

She said the current run-walk-bike ride fundraiser has been modified to a virtual format.

Other upcoming events include a golf tournament and a Paw Sale.

After a solid month in April, Schaible said May has been even better.
