Activities and athletics are also planned to begin on time. Huron Superintendent Terry Nebelsick says there are still questions to be answered. such as riding the bus for activities.

He says something is lost without traveling together.

Huron Activities Director Terry Rotert is a member of the SDHSAA COVID taske force, and says situations are different depending where you’re at.

There are many decisions to make, such as when a game has to be canceled due to COVID.

Rotert is optimistic about starting next month.

Rotert says some AD’s will be meeting today ahead of a task force meeting Friday. He hopes a plan can be brought the the Activities Association Board next Monday.
