Incoming Attorney General talks about working with the legislature in 2023

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Attorney General-elect Marty Jackley will return to the office he held for ten years in January. He was unopposed in this months election.

He says he is developing his legislative agenda.

Jackley says he wants to consider some election enforcement issues.

Jackley says there will be a number of criminal law reforms.

Jackley will take the office from interim Attorney General Mark Vargo who was appointed to the office following the impeachment of former Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.
