Independent candidate for U.S. Senate Brian Bengs provided an update on his campaign

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate Brian Bengs updated on his campaign for that senate seat.

Bengs released polling he paid for back in June.  One thing that jumped out was how unfamiliar he still is in the state.

Bengs compared running as a Independent this cycle compared to running as a Democrat in 2022.

Bengs main focus on the campaign for now is to continue to go after current U.S. Senator Mike Rounds.

Bengs recently held a forum with the Democratic candidate Julian Beaudion with TurnSDPurple.com.  He admitted if it remains a three person race, Senator Rounds will win.  Bengs discussed what they hoped to agree upon to make it a one on one race.

Former President Biden has endoresed Beaudion for the U.S. Senate race.  Bengs weighed in on that endorsement.

The deadline to withdraw your name on the November ballot is Tuesday, August 4th.

One bill that could play a factor in the November elections is whether the Save America Act will pass Congress and be signed by President Trump.  Bengs offered his view on the bill.

Bengs wanted to look into more on that bill before deciding on whether to ban mai-in voting or allowing transgender men to participate in women’s sports.

Another thing that Republican influencers would like to see done is use any method needed to get it passed even if it means to eliminate the filibuster.  Bengs offered his thoughts on the filibuster.

Bengs encourage everyone to check his official website for his views on various topic and is looking for feedback.

The general election is on Tuesday, November 3rd.
