ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Hub City Women of Today are seeking contestants for this year’s Miss Aberdeen, Jr. Miss Aberdeen, and Little Miss Aberdeen and Little Master Aberdeen contests. Deadline applications are due on Monday, Oct. 19.

Coronation will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Aberdeen Civic Theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Wanda Fruedenthal, President of the Hub City Women of Today, said they extended the deadline for a few days.

The winners of the Miss Aberdeen and Jr. Miss Aberdeen contest will represent Aberdeen in the South Dakota Snow Queen Festival in January. Miss Aberdeen candidates must be at least 17 and no older than 19 on Jan. 1, 2021. Jr. Miss Aberdeen candidates must be at least 14 and no older than 16 on Jan. 1, 2021.

Fruedenthal said there are some great opportunities for queen contestants.

She said her daughter is still reaping the benefits from being Miss Aberdeen.
