OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – While the regional economy is still expanding, there are some growing concerns.

Ernie Goss with Creighton University in Omaha conducts the monthly survey of business managers in the nine state Mid America region.

He says inflation is starting to be a factor.

Goss says businesses across the region need more workers.

Goss says a big boost would come if Congress passes the USMCA trade deal.

Goss says any trade deal worked out with China would also help regional businesses.
